I am an artist living and working in Co. Monaghan, Ireland.
I do design work of all kinds:
In July 2024 I completed the TAP+ (Teacher-Artist Partnership) course. This Department of Education initiative gives TAP+ trained teachers the opportunity to host a fully-funded Artist in Residency in their schools. Teacher and artist work collaboratively to facilitate a unique, child-led arts project tailored to the students and their interests, carried out over 20 hours of on-site classes.

I am always happy to work with young people and to collaborate with other artists and groups to support creative youth. In the past I have co-facilitated workshops in art and drama with primary and post-primary school children, and provided pottery and painting lessons to kids and families.
In my personal practice as a visual artist I make work under the pseudonym Kaiser Caimo. You can view some of that work here. I work mainly in my studio space in Monaghan town. Mythology, migration, identity and reinvention are recurring themes in my work. I am primarily a painter but I also make prints, drawings, comics and zines, amongst other things.
