If I ever go out walking and meet a kindred spirit who actually likes photographing bark as much as I do, I will kick their shins and steal their camera because the trees are mine, all of them, all the lumpy trees belong to me.

These are like vaguely familiar landscapes to me. They feel like dark grainy holiday photographs from a trip I barely remember taking.

I went to visit the Dead Zoo again.

The older and more shoddily-preserved the specimen, the more I like it.

And I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this but I like fish. I really rather do like fish.
