I’ve evidently been looking at Christian art too much lately, because this reminds me of a Renaissance painting, possibly of the Assumption of Mary, or maybe some obscure saint experiencing an ecstatic conversion.

To be clear, it is actually some detritus lurking just beneath the surface of filthy, man-made lake.

If I ever go out walking and meet a kindred spirit who actually likes photographing bark as much as I do, I will kick their shins and steal their camera because the trees are mine, all of them, all the lumpy trees belong to me.

I went to visit the Dead Zoo again.

The older and more shoddily-preserved the specimen, the more I like it.

And I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this but I like fish. I really rather do like fish.

I will never not love the aquarium.

Gather my fishly ones unto me, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice!

Sorry you have to live in this greasy tank.

But look at you, you are all so handsome.
